The program of the hotel casino Solei, more precisely, the entrance hall (with a reception desk, a bar and a restaurant) requires a representative ceiling lighting. The project tendency is to unite a functional element of the lighting with a decorative element on the ceiling. The entire ambient lighting becomes, at the same moment, its principal decoration. The elements are combined into various spatial formations which are related to the hotel program itself. Light intensity, the density of lihting elements in the formations increases or decreases proportionally with the program intensity. The whole ceiling turns into a lighting-net, an upside down light-topography.
