The idea for a design of a market stand rose up during the making of a competition project of three squares in Slovenj Gradec, 2004 as a part of square's urban equipment.
The main concept was to make a foldable stand as rational and simple as possible. Basic elements of the stand are:
1. box – serves as a selling surface and a depository at a same time,
2. roof – made from techno fabric,
3. supporting structure – made from two joint metal frame.
The folding of supporting structure functions on the „scissor“ principle. The advantage of foldability is to enable more flexible arrangement of the stands on squares depending on the event and capacity of the place.
